Given the underground nature of the campaign, a few guerrilla forms of promotions were devised. The mugshots of the comrades who featured in the film were used as interactive posters and outdoor hoardings, wherein the interaction led to sampling the drink.

Designed entirely in MS-DOS format, the Cafe Cuba launch website reflects the spirit of an ‘underground revolution’ that is started to take on the cola giants. One that has been brewing for years in the back alleys and dark rooms of comrades, and is now finally out in the open at


These interactive posters were placed in colleges and corporate parks where the target interacted with the posters by scanning the QR codes to bail the comrades out. The comrades in return appeared on their phones and gave them a code word and an underground location where they could score Cuba for free if in exchange of the code word.
