Designed entirely in MS-DOS format, the Cafe Cuba launch website reflects the spirit of an ‘underground revolution’ that is started to take on the cola giants. One that has been brewing for years in the back alleys and dark rooms of comrades, and is now finally out in the open at www.cafecuba.in It is the first Indian website to be featured and awarded as the 'Site of the Day' by the FWA and AWWWARDS. An MS-DOS ASCII animation is designed to narrate the story of the current state of the world.
An 8-bit sound track was designed for the entire MS-DOS ASCIIMATION film.
Access Denied We stopped the Users at a point of the website and requested them to enter password to proceed. @TheCubaGuy regularly engages in conversation and provides the password on twitter to the comrades.
The password unlocks the Cafe Cuba Film which picks up from where the MS-DOS animation stops and continues the story of the comrades who started the revolution.
The UI is designed in a way where only a keyboard is required to navigate and interact with the MS-DOS website.
The website is designed to deliver the MS-DOS experience on all screens.
